If you have received the letter stating all children entering grades 7-12 will need proof of the Tdap (adolescent whooping cough/tetanus booster) immunization, we will be happy to provide a copy of your child's immunization record. Only ONE Tdap shot is required starting at age 10 or 11. If your child hasn't had this immunization, he/she will need to get it before school starts in the Fall. If your child is up to date with her/his shots by kindergarten, then they most likely are protected from the whooping cough. If they are behind on their shots, you may drop in between 9:30-11 am and 2:30-4 pm during the week. It's very important to keep the epidemic from spreading by vaccinating your children.
