Meet our physicians!
Michael H. Malone, M.D.
- Dr. Malone attended U.C. Berkeley for his undergraduate degree and studied
medicine at U.C. San Francisco. He completed his pediatric training at
Children's Hospital in Oakland completing his pediatric boards in June, 1978. He enjoys music and plays the guitar in his
spare time, as well as working on his golf game and catching an occasional fish.
He is married and has 5 adult children and enjoys being with his grandkids..
Patricia O. Francis,
M.D. - Dr. Francis graduated from UC Santa Barbara in
1975 and from Boston University Medical School in 1979. She completed her pediatric
training at Children's hospital in Oakland in 1984 and completed the Pediatric boards in 1987. When she is not taking care of children, she enjoys
backpacking with her husband, Ron and her two adult daughters - Corrie and Erica. She also enjoys
traveling, speaks German and is involved with the Christian Medical and Dental
Association Marriage Commission, holding marriage workshops for physicians. She
does medical missions every year in Latin America.
Daniel
Robbins, M.D.
- Dr. Robbins did his undergraduate work at UC Santa Cruz, receiving his BA with
honors in Biology in 1982. He went to the University of Southern California
Medical School, graduating in 1987 and did his pediatric training at Children's
Hospital, Oakland. He completed his pediatric boards in 1992. In his free time,
Dr. Robbins enjoys gardening and cycling and he lives in Berkeley with his wife,
Dr. Marianna Eraklis, a fellow in Child Behavior and Development at Children's
Hospital, and their son Alexi and daughter Tasia. He is currently working on
International Pediatric Health and Education Programs.
Jennifer Anderson, M.D.
- Dr. Anderson attended Stanford for her undergraduate degree in
Biology. She then worked at Stanford on public health efforts focused on
adolescent health and safety. She studied medicine at the University of
Southern California, graduating in 2001. Dr. Anderson completed her
pediatric training at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. She
enjoys hiking, jogging, cooking, and traveling. She lives in Lafayette
with her husband Doug, and her three children - Kyle, Lauren and Tyler, and her
dog Jasper.
Juliana
Herbert, M.D. - Dr. Herbert did her undergraduate work at Cal Poly,
San Luis Obispo, receiving a BS in Biology. She went to Chicago Medical School,
and completed her residency training at Children's Hospital Oakland. After
completing a year of Chief Residency, she worked as an in-house pediatrician at
John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek. After 2 years at John Muir, she returned to
Children's Hospital to work as a hospitalist and the Medical Director of the
Children's Hospital Summit unit. She recently joined Lamorinda Pediatrics in
September 2007. She is married and lives with her husband Bob McCallister and
sons Matthew and xxx (due Feb. 24, 2012)...in Lafayette .
Michael
Kubalik, M.D. - Dr. Kubalik attended UC Berkeley for his
undergraduate studies with a major in Integrative Biology and a minor in
Education. He then did research at Stanford University in childhood obesity
prevention prior to attending medical school at Albany Medical College in New
York. He completed his pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital
Oakland and joined Lamorinda Pediatrics in 2009. He loves living in Oakland with his wife, Tammy Lee, where they enjoy
cooking, traveling, and spending time with their son Jacob.
